Living by the Mantra: The Three Rights by Richard D. Lamphere

Rich Lamphere lives by the following three rights “Live Right, Be Right, and Do Right.”

We all have guiding principles in life—those philosophies that shape our decisions and direct us down the path we choose. Richard D. Lamphere, a seasoned builder and real estate developer, lives by three rules: Live Right, Be Right, and Do Right. In this blog post, I’d like to discuss what these three rights mean to Rich and how they can motivate all of us to live more purposeful and ethical lives.

Live Right

Rich Lamphere’s first of three rights is to “Live Right.” Personal integrity and living a life true to oneself are central to this right. It is about being truthful, authentic, and maintaining a sense of moral goodness in all that we do. For Rich, living right entails staying true to one’s values regardless of the circumstances.

Living right isn’t always easy, especially in a world that frequently encourages us to compromise and take shortcuts. We can, however, find inner peace and build trust with those around us by making the conscious decision to live right. It serves as a reminder that no matter how tempting it may be, we should never compromise our integrity.

Be Right

Rich Lamphere’s mantra’s second right is to “Be Right.” This right emphasizes the significance of ongoing self-improvement and education. It motivates us to pursue accuracy in our thoughts, actions, and decisions. Being correct entails seeking knowledge, embracing growth, and adapting to change.

Being right entails admitting our flaws and actively working to overcome them. It comes down to being open to feedback, remaining humble, and being willing to learn from others. We can become better versions of ourselves and make more informed decisions if we embody this right.

Do Right

Rich Lamphere’s third and final commandment is to “Do Right.” This right is all about taking action and making ethical decisions in our daily interactions and lives. Doing the right thing entails treating others with kindness, respect, and empathy. It is about making choices that benefit not only ourselves, but also our communities and the world as a whole.

Doing the right thing can be as simple as opening a door for someone, volunteering for a charitable cause, or making environmentally conscious decisions. It’s about making the world a better place with our actions, no matter how insignificant they may appear.

Finally, Rich Lamphere’s mantra of “Live Right, Be Right, Do Right” is a powerful reminder of the principles that can guide us to a fulfilling and ethical life. We can all strive to be better versions of ourselves and contribute positively to the world around us by living with integrity, seeking continuous self-improvement, and making ethical choices. So, let us all take inspiration from these three rights and incorporate them into our own lives.
